Discovering Benidorm is easy on foot as the area is very compact especially the Levante Playa area and New Town, which is chosen by most visitors as the area to stay. Walking time from one end of the resort to the other is a little over an hour’s walk.
However, if walking is not your style, Benidorm does have a great and affordable local bus network. A single journey, is all that can be bought from the driver (returns are not possible to purchase).
A single journey ticket, whether it be for one stop, or from the start to the end of the line on any particular bus N° is a mere 1.50€.
If you plan on using the buses frequently throughout your stay, then this price can be reduced, with the purchase of a bus pass to suit your requirements.
One such example is this card:
Temporary 24 hour tourist cards (72 hours or 7 days)

Getting Around On Tram
There is a fast tram line that runs from Alicante To Denia. Benidorm tram station is roughly in the middle of those two points and indeed is where you change if you are completeing the whole journey.
By being the ‘changeover’ point it makes Benidorm tram station the ideal place to begin a journey in either direction. To Alicante or to Denia.
There are of course many intersting stops in between these two main destinations. Such as Villajayosa , direction Alicante. Or Calpe, direction Denia.
These modern trams are a wonderfully cheap way to get around and no matter which direction you go, they give different, but wonderful Costa Blanca scenery to view.
